Las Tintoreras is a group of small islets. The largest is about 900 metres long and around 100 metres wide. Marine iguanas, Galapagos penguins, blue-footed boobies, Galapagos sea lions and marine turtles all live among the rocky lava landscape. The water is calm and clear for most of the year.
After a walk around the islet, you’ll return to the boat and snorkel nearby. Swimming among colorful fish and starfish—and, with luck, stingrays, sharks and sea lions—is a wonderful part of this tour.
