The Wall of Tears (Muro de las Lágrimas) is one of the most important historic sites in the Galapagos Islands. Prisoners sent to Isabela built the wall in the 1940s and 1950s. But in is this particular case, it's not about the destination; it's about the journey.
On the way, you’ll pass the beautiful beaches of the Wetland Complex, where you can stop for a swim. You may also see giant tortoises and Galapagos seabirds. It’s a lovely trip if you’re looking for a quiet walk or a bike ride.
